The course was developed under a Verizon Thinkfinity Cornerstone III grant.
Goal: To explore and articulate the strategic alignments among other fields of study and Information Systems. Originally, the grant was aimed at generating interdisciplinary program offerings for the Performing Arts.
The Performing Arts are experiencing an emerging reliance on computer driven creation and technology driven presentations including virtual auditions. New media open up enormous opportunities for the individual performing artist who understands computer mediated engagement and can write, direct, capture and present work using these media. In the first course offering there were no Performing Arts majors enrolled.
